All Cats Go to Heaven
This was a Journey thru Time assignment that needed to focus on one theme that illustrates passage of time. I compiled images of the last three cats that adopted me. I focused on my white and brown tabby as the center of my life, with my Orange cat Sigma emerging as the alpha and my Persian that passed away years ago.
Cubic Children
Here is a little assignment involving classic art mixed with photography. Ideally the photo was to include practical brush strokes and a hand drawn element. I struggle to get out of my comfort zone with artwork. I haven't taken any studio classes in college so I had to add an impromptu sketch that was more of a doodle. See if you can spot it
Anamorphic Me
This was in the top the for favorite projects in the Fall 2025 semester. I didn't get the grade I had hoped for, but ce la vie. One comment I received was the transparency was to light but I wanted this to be the finished product. I had to add the animal elements. The guesses to what they are.
Grins and Giggles
My happiest moments come from just fiddling with my photos. This genius is a combination of a sunny selfie and duplicating a tree in a sunset to fill in the empty space. Very little adjustment or filters. Just another accidentin the spare 15 minutes before class.
This is Nanny. She is the mascot for for my soapmaking hobby and business. Overthinking often stymies my creativity. It took two different classes tocome up withwhat you see now. I plan to published the earlier alterations before I lose them.

Parabellum
(If you want Peace, You must prepare for War.)
I was going through a rough patch at the time of this piece. There was a lot going in my life, a lot of chaos. Thankfully, my classes give me an outlet for my angst.
I noticed the wall scrolls are reversed from the saying. It says Prepare for War, if you want peace. To symbolize this, I am holding the tea cup in the foreground with the katana in the background- war as a backup.
Back to Basics
This started out as a rough draft for a stylized portrait.
Fortunately, I chose a different direction and ended up with All Cats Go to Heaven.
That doesn't mean I won't polish this up and refine it, I just need to figure out what I plan to say.
A personal motto of mine. Another happy accident, digital doodling before class.
I Believe you should own what others think is an attack on your behavior or character. That way it can never be used against you.
I have even commissioned a sweatshirt to be made from this.
